Xavier started his youth career at Fulham as a 7-year-old. Arsenal signed him
aged 12 before German outfit Hamburger SV scouted him and permanently
signed the England winger in July 2019 on a four-year deal. The Bundesliga 2 club
saw Xavier as an ideal recruit in their quest to reach promotion into the top
division of German football. The Bath-born attacker, who can play on either of the
flanks, is also a current England under 20 international. He was named in the
UEFA Team of the Tournament at the under 17 Euros.
