Lucas Paquetá is a Brazil international and one of the Premier League's top midfielders.
His career began at Flamengo in his home city of Rio de Janeiro, where the dazzling Brazilian caught the eye of several top European clubs. AC Milan won the race for his signature and Paquetá went on to make 44 appearances during his 18-month stay in Italy.
The midfielder then joined Lyon, where his stand-out performances saw him named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season in his first campaign. Paquetá registered a total of 21 goals and 14 assists for the French side before West Ham broke their transfer record to land the Brazilian in August 2022.
With his superb technical ability and creativity, Paquetá became an instant fans' favourite at the London Stadium and helped the Hammers win the 2022-23 Europa Conference League.
He was part of the Brazil squad that lifted the 2018-19 Copa America and has been a regular starter for the Seleção ever since.
