Justen Glad is an established MLS regular who is playing his eleventh season for Real Salt Lake.
The defender first signed with the Utah side in April 2014, age 17, as the club’s sixth all-time Homegrown Player.
He has gone on to set multiple club records, becoming the first Homegrown Player to don the captain’s armband, as well as the first to reach 200 appearances. In 2022, Justen also became the first Homegrown to be named Real Salt Lake’s Most Valuable Player, as voted by team-mates.
In September 2023, Justen extended his contract with Real Salt Lake through 2026, with a club option for the 2027 season.
