Captivating a crowded venue, Mozart La Para, leader of the urban music movement in the Dominican Republic, gave his last performance as part of ‘The King of Bachata,’ Romeo Santos’ “Golden Tour’ at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia this Sunday.
The presentation concluded a successful run as the tour’s East Coast opening act that began with astounding success at Madison Square Garden in February and included dates at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the Agganis Arena in Boston, PPL Center in Allenton, EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, and the Amway Center in Orlando.

Being part of this tour was an incredible experience for the popular Dominican star. This was the first time Mozart La Para embarked on such an extensive tour in the United States, and the audience’s reactions were overwhelmingly positive.
Mozart is currently one of the most renowned and famous performers in his native Dominican Republic, and the Dominican community stateside welcomed him with open arms. Attendees enthusiastically sang along all of his hits, including his most recent single, “Al Capone.”
In addition to his appearances throughout the “Golden Tour,” Mozart La Para also took his talent to Austin, Texas for the 2018 SXSW Festival, one of the most important cultural events in the country. His performance on Friday, March 16 during the Casa Urbana showcase hosted at the Half Step Bar, was one of the great highlights of the night.
