Mozart La Para, leader of the urban music movement in the Dominican Republic, performed with astounding success at Madison Square Garden last Thursday night, as the artist responsible for opening the first date of the “Golden Tour” for ‘The King of Bachata’ Romeo Santos.
The popular Dominican star performed all of his hits, while fans sang along enthusiastically to Mozart’s oldest tracks such as: “Si Te Pego El Cuerno,” “Pa Gozar,” as well as his most recent releases: “Bye, Bye,” “Al Capone,” among others. The large Dominican community that attended the concert made the artist feel right at home.
Humbled and moved by the great reception, Mozart thanked the audience for their support and even brought his daughter to join him on stage, who showed her own artistic abilities and received a warm ovation.
The striking night sets the tone for what promises to be an unmissable and unforgettable tour. Mozart will also be in charge of opening most of the tour dates across the East Coast of the United States during the “Golden Tour,” including the show at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
